was an up-and-down night for Cody Overton tonight
in the second leg of the 'Super Bowl of Racing' at
Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Georgia. Cody
laid down the fastest lap in Group B during the 604
Crate Late Model qualifying session and later came
out on top of the A-Main to record an apparent $2,000

quickest time in Group A during qualifying and appeared
to run a strong third in the $1,000 to win feature
event. However, both impressive finishes were disallowed
and Cody was disqualified for incorrect transponder
location - something that could have easily been prevented
if there was pre-race technical inspection.
