(March
8, 2026) The Speedweeks journey for Cody Overton wrapped
up from March 4-7 at Golden Isles Speedway, as the Lucas Oil
Late Model Dirt Series presided over four big events at the
Brunswick, Georgia-area speedplant. On Wednesday night in the
opener, which boasted a $7,000 paycheck, Cody drove his own
#97 machine to a fourth place heat race finish before climbing
to twelfth in the 30-lap feature.
The rest of the week, Cody subbed for an ailing
Tyler Bruening in the Skyline Motorsports #16 entry. The Evans,
Georgia ace finished twenty-third in Thursday's $10,000 to win
feature after getting caught up in a wreck, ran twenty-seventh
in Friday's $12,000 to win main event after breaking a front
bumper mount and slamming into the wall, and placed seventh
in Saturday's $25,000 to win grand finale. Complete results

Overton Back in #15k at Ocala Speedway
(March
1, 2026) The busy Speedweeks for Cody Overton continued
from February 24-28 with five Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series
shootouts during the 'Wieland Winternationals' at Ocala Speedway
in Ocala, Florida. With a rain-out on Friday, only four races
officially got into the record books. Driving Bruce Kane's #15k
machine once again, Cody unfortunately missed out on the final
two features of the week after transferring into the first two
A-Mains.
On Tuesday night in the $7,000 to win opener,
Cody placed sixth in his heat race, fourth in his B-Main, and
twenty-first in the 30-lap main event. In a similar $7,000 to
win program on Wednesday evening, Cody grabbed the fourth and
final transfer spot through his heat race prior to finishing
twentieth in the final rundown of the 30-lapper. Complete results

Pilots Bruce Kane's #15k at All-Tech Raceway
(February
22, 2026) After practicing on Thursday night at Hendry
County Motorsports Park and unfortunately losing his last motor,
Cody Overton wound up driving a Bruce Kane Racing #15k entry
at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Florida on February 20-21
in a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series showdowns. On
Friday night with a $12,000 payday up for grabs, Cody placed
fourth in his loaded heat race and fifteenth in the 50-lap headliner.
With a $15,000 top prize on the line in Saturday's weekend
finale, Cody ran sixth in his heat race and eighth in his B-Main.
Unfortunately, the Evans, Georgia standout was not able to advance

Overton Back at Volusia for DIRTcar Nationals
(February
14, 2026) A Valentine's Day shootout wrapped up the
55th Annual 'DIRTcar Nationals' tonight at Volusia Speedway
Park and 56 race teams signed into the Daytona Beach-area speedplant
to do battle for a hefty $20,000 paycheck. Cody Overton finished
sixth in both his heat race and his B-Main, which forced him
to rely on a World of Outlaws Late Model Series provisional
to gain access into the 50-lap headliner. The Evans, Georgia
ace was able to advance nine spots to salvage an eighteenth

(February 13, 2026) Cody Overton returned
to action with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series tonight
at Volusia (FL) Speedway Park in round five of the 'DIRTcar
Nationals,' which also boasted a $12,000 first place prize.
Cody ran second in his loaded heat race prior to passing five
competitors during the 35-lapper en route to a steady seventh
place effort.
(February 12, 2026) The World of Outlaws Late
Model Series roared into the Daytona Beach area to preside over
their first event of the annual 'DIRTcar Nationals.' A $12,000
top prize was up for grabs earlier this evening at Volusia Speedway
Park and a total of 58 Super Late Model competitors were packed
into the pit area at the 1/2-mile speedplant. Cody Overton earned
Fast Time honors during qualifying prior to securing a victory
in his heat race. Unfortunately, Cody was an early retiree in
the 35-lap feature and was ultimately paid for a twenty-eighth
place performance.
(February 11, 2026) Tonight's DIRTcar Racing
program at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida was
headlined by a trio of split-field features - each of which
paid $5,000 to the winner. Cody Overton stopped the clock third
fastest in his group during qualifying prior to finishing a
solid third in the 20-lap main event behind only victor Tyler
Erb and runner-up Chris Madden!
(February 10, 2026) Round two of the 'DIRTcar
Nationals' was held tonight at Volusia Speedway Park and another
$7,000 payday was on the line for the ground-pounding Super
Late Models. Cody Overton once again knocked down the quickest
lap in his group during qualifying prior to claiming a heat
race victory. The Evans, Georgia standout then blasted past
a trio of racecars during the 25-lapper to finish a strong runner-up
for the second straight night behind only winner Hudson O'Neal!
(February 9, 2026) The 55th edition of the
'DIRTcar Nationals' kicked off for the Super Late Models earlier
this evening and a $7,000 winner's check was up for grabs in
a DIRTcar Racing event. A total of 56 competitors were on the
grounds at Volusia Speedway Park for the first of six straight
nights of action. Cody Overton topped his group during time
trials prior to recording a heat race triumph. In the 25-lap
main event, Cody moved up a spot during the distance to finish
an impressive runner-up behind his brother and victor Brandon
Overton!

Wins with Red Clay 602 Series During Winter Freeze!
(February
8, 2026) Cody Overton, of Evans, Georgia pulled double
duty during the 'Winter Freeze XVI' weekend on February 6-7
at Screven Motor Speedway and was able to celebrate in victory
lane at the Sylvania, Georgia oval. In Red Clay 602 Late Model
Series competition, Cody wheeled a #84 Excel Racing Chassis
normally driven by Brian Grumbles. On Friday night, Cody timed
in sixth quickest in Group B during qualifying prior to passing
eight competitors during the $2,000 to win feature to finish
in the fourth position. The driver known as "Lil Sexy"
then earned Fast Time honors during Saturday's qualifying session
and later led the final three laps of the A-Main to secure the
$2,500 triumph ahead of runner-up Ches Chester, Wyatt Coffey,
Trent Ivey, and Cameron Tribble!
Behind the wheel of his #97 Super Late Model , Cody unfortunately
didn't have any luck in the pair of Southern All Star Dirt Racing
Series contests. With a $10,000 payday up for grabs on Friday
evening, Cody got into the wall during his heat race and was
forced to scratch from the 35-lap main event. On Saturday with
a $25,000 winner's check on the line, Cody vaulted to third
in his heat race and was running third in the 50-lapper until
a part failure dropped him to a disappointing twenty-second

(February
1, 2026) The 2026 Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
season kicked off on Friday night, January 30 with a non-points
event at Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia. Night one
of the 'South Georgia Showdown' drew 17 competitors to the Peach
State oval to do battle for the $10,000 first place prize.
Cody Overton timed in sixth quickest during the qualifying
session prior to starting and finishing third in his heat race.
Cody then blasted past four competitors during the 30-lap headliner
to place second at the checkered flag behind only his brother
and winner Brandon Overton. Saturday's $10,000 to win weekend
finale at Needmore Speedway was then nixed due to inclement

Overton Kicks Off Outlaws Season in Sunshine Nationals
(January
24, 2026) The annual ‘Sunshine Nationals’
wrapped up in a big way earlier tonight at Volusia Speedway
Park, as a $20,000 to win headliner capped off a huge tripleheader
weekend in Barberville, Florida. In World of Outlaws Late Model
Series qualifying, Cody Overton started off his evening by laying
down the twenty-second quickest lap in Group A during the time
trial session. Following an eighth place finish in his heat
race, Cody nabbed the third transfer spot through his B-Main.

(January 23, 2026) Night two of the 'Sunshine
Nationals' took place earlier this evening at Volusia Speedway
Park and another $12,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Armed
with a new powerplant, Cody Overton returned to action tonight
in Barberville, Florida and laid down the thirteenth quickest
lap in Group A during World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying.
Following a fifth place run in his heat race, Cody secured a
victory in his B-Main to gain access into the 35-lap headliner.
The Evans, Georgia ace was then able to rally past five competitors
en route to a solid twelfth place performance.
(January 22, 2026) The World of Outlaws Late
Model Series kicked off their 2026 season tonight in the first
round of the 'Sunshine Nationals' at Volusia Speedway Park in
Barberville, Florida. A 44-car field piled into the pit area
at the Daytona Beach-area speedplant to do battle for the $12,000
first place prize money. Unfortunately, Cody Overton hurt two
motors during Wednesday's practice session and was forced to
scratch from tonight's World of Outlaws lid lifter.
